Yes, I know. It sure looks like it is. It is made of wound glass.
You see it strung up into necklaces.
It is from New Kingdom Egypt (1559-1085 BC).
But it is not a bead. It is the bottom (the piercing part) of an earring.
The flat, decorative top has been broken off.
It has a hole because the earring was made on a mandrel.
