About 20 mm (4/5 of an inch) in diameter, this glass bead was made in Hebron (the West Bank) more than 100 years ago. As the major glassmaking (and glass beadmaking) center of the Late Islamic Period, Hebron products traveled far and wide. Yellow is the most common color for these beads, followed by green. This blue is relatively scarce. __________________________________________________ Small Bead Businesses | Beading & Beadwork | Ancient Beads | Trade Beads |
