Research Reports

Research Reports are prepared on request. They are written reports detailing information on any bead topic. This is a new service at the Center for Bead Research, emulating the
Bead Identification Certificates we have been issuing for several years.

Topics that have been submitted to date include the use of translucent glass seed beads in the American Plains before 1840, statistics on the African bead trade that can be used for problem solving in a fourth grade arithmetic text and the definition of "bead" for legal purposes.

The minimum charge is $25. This will vary, according to the time a given project requires.
