Our Internet Partner: Guide to Beadwork

Guide to Beadwork, first published in 1990, was one of most easily understand introductions to this craft (see my review). It was written by Desireé Vinson, with clear computer-generated illustrations by her husband Greg, who holds the copyright.

Greg Vinson and I are old e-friends. I have been promoting the book and he, being more tech-savvy than I, keeps a watchful eye on glitches at TheBeadSite. Guide to Beadwork went out of print some time ago. I have continued advertising the book, hoping that Greg would reprint it.

Rather than do that, Greg decided to put it on-line. The site he had been using to sell it also contained a list of bead shops that carried the book.

We have agreed to become partners in the promotion of the contents of the book and the use of his expanded database of bead stores.

We are both looking forward to a long and successful collaboration.
